Bring Me the Horizon (often abbreviated as BMTH) is a British rock band, formed in Sheffield in 2004. The band has since embarked on a number of UK tours supporting well-established bands such as Bleeding Through and Aiden, and also signed with Visible Noise Records in the autumn of 2005. Magazine Awards.
The band have also released two extended plays and two live albums. They have received four Kerrang! The style of their early work, including their debut album Count Your Blessings, has been described primarily as deathcore, but over the course of several albums, the band has shifted its style and moved in a more melodically-oriented direction by combining their approach to metalcore with elements of electronica, pop and hip hop.
Despite only forming in March 2004, the band has gathered a surprisingly large fan base both in the UK and the U.

While attending a concert of one of his favorite bands Funeral for a Friend he was granted the incredible opportunity to sing one of their songs on stage. Sykes recalls this as the best day of his life and just a little after this experience he formed Bring Me the Horizon. The album was reissued in 2005 and made all the way to 41 on the UK album charts. The band went on to release their 2006 debut album Count Your Blessings. Though the album received mixed reaction from the general public and critics, the band was able to gain some praiseworthy traction, being endowed at the 2006 Kerrang!
Bring Me the Horizon saw themselves touring more and more, though they received many of their early gigs through scheming against unassuming concert promoters. The early iteration of Bring Me the Horizon was rough and unruly.
